My story
I'm João Puerta. I started Mastcher from Lisbon, because I couldn't find my own master's.
I've never been the academic type. But at some point I wanted something more, something that actually looked like me. So I started searching.
Weeks of tabs, rankings, and university pages that all sound identical. Nothing told me which programs were right for me. Not even Claude could help me.
So I built the thing I needed.
Then I started hearing the same problems from my friends:
“I have an Excel.”
“I found one I like, but it's €50k.”
“I don't want my parents paying €30k for something I'm not sure about.”
Turns out I wasn't the only one guessing. That's Mastcher.
What Mastcher does
You tell us about yourself: your background, your budget, your goals, and where you want to study. I score every program against your real profile on four things. How likely you are to get in. Whether it fits your budget. Whether it matches your career goals. Whether it actually fits you. You get a ranked list back, not a search box. Right now that's 150+ curated European programs across seven countries, growing every week. A person reviews every single one before it ever reaches you.
