Msc. in Finance

The Master of Science in Finance at HEC Lausanne trains students for careers in banks, insurance companies, consultancies, fintechs, pension funds and international institutions, combining analytical, technical and strategic financial skills. Students choose one of three specialization streams -- Asset and Risk Management, Corporate Finance, or Financial Entrepreneurship and Data Science -- covering topics from quantitative risk modelling to mergers and acquisitions to fintech and machine learning applications. The two-year, 120-ECTS programme is recognised as an academic partner of the CFA, CAIA and GARP professional bodies and is taught entirely in English. It suits graduates with a strong quantitative and economics/finance background seeking rigorous technical training ahead of a career in the finance industry.
