Msc. in Public Policy and Human Development

This one-year, full-time MSc, offered jointly by Maastricht University and United Nations University, trains students in quantitative and qualitative skills to analyse complex public policy challenges. The first semester gives everyone a common foundation in the theories and practice of governance and policy analysis, after which students choose a specialisation and complete a thesis within public policy research. Teaching uses Problem-Based Learning in small groups of 10 to 15 students. It is designed for students who want to promote evidence-based policymaking and work in public, private or non-profit sectors globally.
