The Master of Science in Consumer Science at TUM School of Management is Germany's only master's programme dedicated exclusively to consumer science, combining management, economics, psychology, and sociology to train graduates who analyse consumer behaviour across economic, social, and environmental dimensions in digitally transformed markets. Over four semesters, students choose a specialisation track — Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Management and Marketing, or Economics and Econometrics — alongside mandatory project studies and an industry-linked thesis. Designed for graduates of management, economics, and social sciences with a grounding in research methods and statistics, it prepares students for analytical and management roles in companies, government agencies, NGOs, and research institutions. TUM School of Management is ranked first in Germany for business and economics (THE 2025).
