The Master in Economics at Sciences Po is a rigorous two-year research programme hosted by the Sciences Po School of Research, designed as a direct pathway to PhD programmes in economics at leading institutions worldwide, including Berkeley, Yale, and Duke. The curriculum covers advanced microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics in Year 1, followed by specialised electives and a supervised research paper in Year 2. Part of the European Masters Programme network alongside LSE, Oxford, and Bocconi, the programme is taught entirely in English and draws on Sciences Po's internationally recognised economics faculty. Graduates pursue careers in academia, international organisations such as the IMF and World Bank, economic consulting, and public policy.
